yearbook kids are the future
The Parkland shooting survivors still have not ceased to amaze with their expert-level memery and conscientious activism, and this New York Times piece on how the Marjory Stoneman Douglas yearbook staff is grappling with honoring victims / covering the tragedy for posterity is another fascinating peek into the hearts & minds of these teens.
It reminded us of how student journalism (think David Hogg especially) has played a huge role in making sure the Parkland shooting has remained a part of the national convo, and if that isn’t enough to bolster all hope for the future of this industry, nothin will.
