The youths know how to Google Doc better than all of us
Oh man, if you haven’t read that Atlantic piece about how the teens are using Google Docs to “pass notes” from last week, it’s honestly worth reading just for boning up on your own surreptitious workday chatting technique.
It’s just another example of the kind of pieces we’ve started to really look forward to reading from Taylor Lorenz, who has been covering the Teens Doing Tech Things beat so well at The Atlantic (teens debating news on Insta and wanna-be influencers faking their own spon con are both so excellent), thereby giving a magazine usually noted for its much ado about the teens pearl-clutching (cc: every Jean Twenge piece ever) a rest and imbuing the 162-year-old title some much-needed edge.
