This graphic is such an exemplary lesson in the impact of data journalism & visualization: when no amount of adjectives, expletives or eloquently worded Medium posts will do the job, numbers often do the job like no other — but you’ve got to show ‘em off in a way that your average Joe & Jen can understand.
