The devil wears millennial pink

So investigative journalism powerhouse ProPublica published a lil’ status update on how they’re tackling diversity — specifically racial and gender representation amongst their ranks — this year by making investments in journalists today as well as the journos of tomorrow.
To which I say, YES. So many orgs (and industries outside of media, to be fair) don’t get that achieving parity in the workplace has to start from the top — in the hiring practices & culture of [insert Silicon Valley giant/major media outlet here] and the bottom — AKA, where the youths who will save us all are starting to learn.
Also, VASTLY unrelated, but I cannot stop thinking about this Miranda Priestly-level NY Mag timeline of millennial pink. Now I can’t unsee how IT IS EVERYWHERE, and somehow I do not mind???
