The summer grain bowl at Stonefruit Espresso + Kitchen in Bed-Stuy consists of a hearty portion of butter beans, sugar snap peas, farro, feta, red onion, and a quite yummy vinaigrette. A very funny and not inaccurate observation about the current generation of AI agents recently made to me by my friend and colleague Claire Landsbaum is that the technology is so clearly made to solve issues that men seem to uniquely grapple with (I’m not counting coding stuff because most humans don’t do that!), while other people, including women, largely live out their lives assisted by the ground-breaking technology of multi-tasking and simply remembering important dates with their heads. Like why am I constantly bombarded with messaging about the most unimaginative use cases for AI agents and software and their idiotically vague promises about “optimizing my workflow” and “productivity”?
