My fave but not actually fave thing about the Shitty Media Men fallout is how many (mostly male) people are all, !! i’m shock!! that other (mostly female) people would feel so murderously gung-ho and like, comprehensive about rooting out the bad eggs. Like it’s all a bit excessively mean or something? And maybe we should not overdo it? To which I say:

The latest scandal hitting the industry hard: top NPR executive Mike Oreskes resigns over allegations of icky ass harassment — and boy does NPR correspondent Mary Louise Kelly ROAST the NPR CEO over it. It’s an unthinkable exchange for any private company to greenlight, but **climbs onto soapbox** this 👏 is 👏 why 👏 public 👏 media 👏 is 👏 important 👏.
