So there is this ski bro who spent two years figuring out how to shoot video of himself doing his ski bro thing with an iPhone 6 tied to a string, and it is absolutely insane. I tried to illustrate it, in case you are the suspicious clicker type who wants to know what you're getting yourself into, to give you a lil' preview on how insane it is both in theory and execution:

See, you just gotta love how Ski Bro takes the whole 360-degree video craze and turns it around (and around...) (I see what I did there). The virtual reality/360 video train everyone’s hopping on is long and not about to stop (see: Facebook, The New York Times, the Associated Press, The Wall Street Journal), but IMO, not even Fashion Week panoramas quite takes your breath away like this vid does. Brb, hitting the slopes.*
