RT 4ever: “Women’s magazines are secret weapons”
I’m all about this Vox piece on how the election cycle is bringing out women’s media’s A-game, because if there’s any journalist (or j-school asshole) out there who still hears the word “Cosmo” and rolls his/her (but it’s probably usually a ‘his’) eyes in response, then that’s someone who doesn’t understand A) the power of a media brand, B) incredible reach that most magazines would commit bloody murder for, and C) media in 2016.
You also have to read NYT reporter Susanne Craig’s account of what it’s like to just have Trump’s tax records ~dropped~ in your mailbox. That’s some Newsroom-type ish there, and I love it.
And finally, this is a neat graphic from WSJ on how women and men perceive the workplace differently that makes cool use of the scroll function to spiff up #thatinfographiclife.
