Okay imma do y’all a solid and confirm that yes, Employerlantic’s latest cover story, My Family’s Slave, is a must-fucking-read, as is many reaction pieces, such as this illustrated one from The Nib, this Seattle Times reaction to Lola’s obituary, this Rappler editorial, written by a Filipina journalist. My personal hot take is mostly focused on ugh why did we need to use millennial pink as a color scheme for a story about a woman caretaker, but that’s just between u guys and moi.
