This might just be my favorite New York Times article ever: Aquarium on Ice, a Lure for Skaters in Japan, Appalls Them Instead.

Too many golden quotes, can’t decide which to tweet/cross-stitch upon a pillow to preserve forever, but these are the top contenders:

• “It was hard to quibble with the park…”

• “We deeply apologize to all who had unpleasant feelings about the ice aquarium…”

• “It may also use the dead sea creatures as fertilizer.”

And..

• “The park also placed photographs of larger fish, like whale sharks, under the ice.”
