never going to look at egg bites the same way again
Can’t really say much about the Ben news, but if you hadn’t heard, that’s what media Twitter (esp. BuzzFeed Twitter) was aflutter about yesterday afternoon.
My supplemental though unrelated link for you today, though, is Mike Isaac’s Grub Street diet, which I have been hyperactively texting to friends all week. It’s possible I just originally read it while in a weird headspace, but I still think this is the funniest shit I have ever read.
It is definitely the most revealing (and actually relatable) “day in the life of a famous media person” piece I’ve seen in a while...just something about imagining Mike Isaac, Mr. cool tattooed bad boi watchdog of Silicon Valley, getting flustered about not having his Starbucks egg bites every morning that brings me complete serenity.
^^^Necessary context: these are egg bites, as ripped from the starbucks website in what I would personally attest to is their most optimistically rendered visual representation.
