my novel is out!!!

The hour has come! My novel, Central Places, is officially out today. The Washington Post published an embarrassingly dazzling review, and Lit Hub has a nice little excerpt here. If you're in NY: I'm doing a BK launch event on Tuesday, Jan. 31, 7pm, at Books Are Magic (the Brooklyn Heights location) with the wonderful Sarah Thankam Mathews (< — this is sold out at the moment, but you can always put your name on the waitlist!) and a Manhattan launch event with the amazing Chanel Miller on Thursday, February 2, 6:30pm at Yu And Me Books in Chinatown (< — this one is not ticketed, but it's a very cozy space so you may want to come early!). 

If you're in LA: I'll be at Skylight Books with the one and only Elaine Hsieh Chou on Wednesday, February 8, at 7 pm.! This one is also not ticketed :)

One more thing: Everyone's been asking me like oh, you wrote a novel about a Chinese-American girl with a slight attitude problem growing up in the Midwest??! Is it YOU??? Is this YOUR STORY? And like dude, duh. Of course it is. I'm so lucky I can finally share it with you.
