more reading on writing & running

We spent most of our long weekend dicking around and tweeting about running and writing (instead of, ya know, actually doing either), and got recommended this ol’ 2008 Haruki Murakami essay, The Running Novelist, which takes every long-distance endurance + writing metaphor we’ve all ever thought of and expands it by a million. V. good companion reading to go with our Nicholas Thompson interview from Friday, in case you missed it/want to marvel at that marathon time once more!
