Aaaaaaand the award for most imaginative political reporting goes to Wired’s Ashley Feinberg, who has undertaken the admirable task of helping us understand the henchmen (and women) of Trump’s inner circle through the point of view of their...Amazon wishlists. Ohhhh yes. Enablers of democracy’s destruction — they’re just like us! They, too, have aspirations for owning & using a portable wood-fired oven (**witch voice** the better to burn the Constitution with, my dear!!!).

It’s another example of how Feinberg’s been killing it lately with these quirky tech-meets-political reporting (see: her master tracking down of James Comey’s Instagram), and this is just another :chef’s kiss: delectable angle that no one else has thought of, or will stop laughing about.
