Today, I’m loving this Columbia Journalism Review roundup of times that famous & less-than-famous writers have gotten beat out on a story — like geez, if you thought competing for the best post-Bachelorette snark tweet was hard, the thought of tracking down cagey confidential sources while also fending off vicious Vanity Fair reporters on the trail is basically some Simone Biles level of Olympic effort.

Also, part 2, this McConnell-related headline made me actual LOL. This shitshow’s entertainment value is just getting way too good…
