How the media/advertising media make their appeal to women is still def. not perfect, but one of the coolest trends we’re seeing in recent times is beauty brands — Dove being the obvi poster girl here — focusing on “real” beauty + issues of slightly more substance than whether your hair is shiny enough to please your husband, etc.
